For years, those of us in the insurance business who sought to put our clients first called ourselves “Brokers”. Now the term Broker is really a misnomer, for we are in fact – from a legal standpoint Agents.

With that thought in mind – call me an Agent of Change. Changes are coming, there is no stopping them. My job is to guide and advise you in how these things impact you.

Whether it be in the medical insurance field (under or over 65), employee benefits (or outsourcing employees), planning for long term care, or using old products such as life insurance in new and better ways – to “bank on yourselves” (you have to see this illustrated to understand how different and better this concept is over the old ways of doing things) – call me. I am here to help you. I am an Agent of Change.

Would you like to know more about PEO’s? Professional Employer Organizations act as a kind of co-employer. They handle the legal stuff, like Work Comp, remitting tax withholdings, dealing with the EDD, etc. They are, in fact, the employer of “your” employees.

There are a couple of facts worth noting …

You as the business owner do not give up control.

The employees do not lose income or benefits. In fact, usually they gain things as these organizations can do things for them that you simply cannot do.

You (often) save money on insurance costs, work comp, etc.

One seemingly small benefit worth noting is that most employers simply do not have a company handbook that is very good, and many do not have one at all. Working with a Professional co-employer, this is solved. What may seem like a small thing, could save you a considerable amount of money.

The best benefit is you are free to run your business – you’ve outsourced your “human resources” department. This can free up an unbelievable amount of time for you to do the things you got into business to do.

How this would work for you and your business I can show you (and demonstrate with a factual illustration). Let me show you how I can free up time for you, better your employee’s position, and save you money.

Call me at 209.390.1163.

Michael Myers

PS. I am available to give a 10 minute presentation at employer groups if you are looking for speakers.
